Well firstly, a big thanks to all the many people who have + fav’d my work, given wonderful comments or decided that I’ve been worth watching these many years. I’ve had a lot of encouragement from many a great artists and I’m privileged to have been able to share work that people have enjoyed and even found funny.

So here is something that I spent a bit of extra time on… a lot in fact, just as a bit of a thank you. I hope you enjoy it. ^^ It’s a pairing I too rarely do, Taang… I just love spice in my ships, and there are few pairings that can get spicier then this one! ^^

It’s a funny thing that the works that take the most time don’t always end up as the most popular… but that’s the way it goes I suppose…

So +fav if you enjoy this, so I know it’s worth the extra effort ^^

Edit: OK, to answer the obvious question, Mai is dancing with an OC, it doesn’t matter who it is, I just wanted to make it clear that even though I like Zutara as a continuation I am of the opinion Maiko would end well and the two would remain friends (I like Mai too much ^^).

The OC is meant to be element neutral (parents from different element base), a calm yet driven young man who travels the world and trades goods and loves to see nature.

As much as I love Taang, I think this wouldve been better had you made it as a continuation from the actual series finale, create an oc for toph to love, and have everyone dancing with who they wound up with.

Aww! How sweet! ^_^ And I see you gave Mai a beau as well, good! I've been reading lots of Post-Series stories lately that counter the Shipping, and I don't like how they handle Mai. Yes, I realize that she and Zuko need to breakup before he and Katara can be together, but the way Mai is portrayed is not very favorable.

If anyone ends it, I think it would be Mai herself.

Yes, :iconk9-the-first: is right. I don't like how Mai is treated too. I have a very nice pairing for Mai. Actually I ship Mai and Kuei, the Earth King. I was kind of mad, that they didn't show him in the finals. I loved him, also because he reminded me of Hakkai from Gensomaden Saiyuki. I think he and Mai could find some common ground, especially because they both had to live their life acording to rules others put up for them. And they both somehow found a escape. I first found this pairing in a Zutara fic named "Great Expectations" by jurnalfiksi. You can find all chapters in her livejournal. It's very nice.
